Reverse-Osmosis Drinking Water Systems

Reverse osmosis is a water purification process that uses a semi-permeable membrane to filter out unwanted molecules and large particles such as chlorine, salt, and sediment from the drinking water supply. Reverse osmosis systems can remove up to 98% of all dissolved solids present in the water supply. Unlike standard water filters, reverse osmosis membrane rejects any particles that cannot pass through the membrane and force them to the drain. Reverse osmosis system are commonly used to process water used on the production of bottled water, beer, food, and most beverages to ensure consistent quality. IRONpro reverse osmosis systems utilizes a 5 stage filtration method. The system consists of a sediment filter, two activated carbon filters to remove chemicals, a 100 gallon per day reverse osmosis membrane, and a final carbon polishing filter. IRONpro R.O. systems also include a pressure boosting delivery pump, and true 5 gallon storage tank to ensure consistent water flow and plenty of pressure to ensure proper operation of your refrigerator’s water dispenser and ice maker.
